British History Online is a non-profit digital library of the core printed primary and secondary sources of British history from 1100 to the mid-twentieth century, with a focus on the medieval and early modern period. The free content consists of approximately 1095 volumes. The Premium Content allows access to an additional 184 volumes, which include: the Calendar of State Papers; Domestic and the Calendars of State Papers for Scotland and Ireland; the Calendars of Border Papers; the Calendars of Home Office Papers of George III; the Parliament Rolls of Medieval England; the National Archives Calendar of Close Rolls; the Calendars of the Committee for the Advancement of Money; and the Calendars of the Committee for Compounding. The online calendar texts are fully searchable, and access to their original page scans (where applicable) is also available for subscribers.
