Visual Sound and Materials portal scoping study and
demonstrator project
This project commissioned to undertake the development of an image
portal demonstrator, based on the recommendations of the JISC PIXUS
project.
A further feasibility study was undertaken as the first phase of
this project which was to adopt all JISC IE standards and work to
point users towards
time-based media and still images – including those licensed for
the JISC community, those available ‘free’ on the internet and
those generated within the academic and publicly-funded community.
