Following the success of the NESLi2 negotiations and in order to extend the range of publishers and online journals available, we launched NESLi2 SMP (NESLi2 for Small and Medium Sized Publishers) in 2007.
22 publishers currently participate in this initiative with some 904 journal titles being made available to academic libraries.
How the publishers and journals are chosen:
An evaluation panel, comprising members of the Journals and e-resources working group and JISC Collections staff, evaluates offers submitted by publishers.
Following the decision of the evaluation panel, we finalise the licences andoffers with the accepted publishers. Details of agreements can be found in our Catalogue and on Lis-Nesli-Reps Jiscmail list in the same way as the other NESLi2 agreements are announced.
Download our guide to completing the licence if you need more help.
