We are aware that libraries like to make use of the services of Subscription Agents to manage their journals be they in print or online format and in some cases to use the electronic gateway services provided by these agents and other intermediaries.

Our negotiations with publishers will include their policy on libraries ordering and accessing their content via agents and intermediaries, and this will be communicated to our member institutions when agreements are announced.

At the same time as agreements are communicated to libraries via the closed email list and in our Catalogue. We will also inform The Association of Subscription Agents and Intermediaries (ASA), who will in turn inform the appropriate agents.
