JISC Collections FE Exemplars

Get the JISC Collections FE Exemplars for FREE:

JISC has commissioned a series of five exemplars which demonstrate how FE practitioners can use content found in online resources to support their teaching. The FE Exemplars show how practitioners can use text and images from these resources to support classroom learning and home based study to meet the core syllabus. The exemplars provide walkthroughs for the scenarios which relate to specific qualifications.

There are five Exemplars covering the following subjects:

All the exemplars are all available online at: http://restricted.jisc.ac.uk/exemplars_fe/ (Please note that you must be within an education institution to access the exemplars online).

The Exemplars can also be obtained on CD by completing the online order form.

JISC Guide to the Model Licence

The JISC Model Licence is used as a base for every time JISC licences an online resource. The Model Licence contains provisions that allow students and staff to make effective use of online resources for learning, teaching and research. This guide will take you through the licence and explain all the terms and conditions.

Education Image Gallery Picture Trails 

The Picture Trails, in the Education Image Gallery, developed by JISC and EDINA, show at a glance the diversity and depth of the image service. They offer an interesting starting point from which to explore (via the keywords associated with each individual image) how images can be used to support teaching and learning in a variety of curriculum areas and levels.
