The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) Proceedings Archive 1847-1996 provides direct access to over 200,000 pages of unique material, including technical papers, obituaries, meeting reports, technical drawings, and editorial comment, all covering some of the most influential and innovative years of engineering development.

The IMechE Proceedings Archive 1847-1996 includes predominantly technical papers suitable for postgraduate and undergraduate engineers. In addition much of the earlier content is of interest to social historians and those historians concerned with the development of science and engineering.

Cost
The IMechE Proceedings Archive is offered as a one-off, outright purchase.
The Access Fee for one year shall be a peppercorn payable by the Institution only if demanded.
Annual access fee thereafter: £250.
The term of this agreement is 3 years: 1 September 2009 to 31 August 2012.
