Metadata standards
Contributors may submit metadata in a variety of formats and schemata for inclusion in ARTstor. In its display, ARTstor presents the full array of data supplied by contributors. In addition, ARTstor aids search and discovery by adding access points and authorised forms drawn from such recognized authorities as the Getty's Union List of Artist Names and Thesaurus of Geographic Names as well as the Library of Congress Name Authority File.
Search options
