We are pleased to announce two new agreements now available to Museum Libraries under our MLAG initiative.

Arts Sales Catalogues Online

Produced by Brill, Arts Sales Catalogues Online is the online edition of the Répetoire des Catalogues de Ventes Publiques by Frits Lugt, a listing of art sales catalogue from 1600 to 1925. Many recently discovered catalogues have been added and corrections to the original work have been made, making this a valuable resource for the study of the history of collecting, as well as a primary means of establishing a work of art's history and provenance.

The agreement commenced on the 1 October 2011 and will run for three years. Museum Libraries may opt-out annually.

Eighteenth Century Collections Online Parts 1 and 2

Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO) Parts 1 and 2 provide online access to over 180,000 titles (200,000 volumes) and nearly 33 million pages published between 1701 and 1800. It includes books and directories, Bibles, sheet music, sermons, advertisements, and works by many well-known and lesser-known authors. Most titles are in English, however scholars will also find material in French, German, Latin, Ancient Greek, Italian and Welsh.
