Highlights of Arts & Sciences IX Archive Collection

JSTOR Content Development, in developing its Arts and Sciences collections, incorporates the regular feedback they receive from their user and library communities. In response to this feedback, their emphasis for Arts and Sciences IX was to offer a more international representation of titles in content, language, and origin of publication, across the entire collection.

  • The collection contains an important group of anthropology and archaeology journals, including four titles in publication for over a century.
  • Including more than 20 titles from JSTOR’s Business III Archive Collection, Arts & Sciences IX Archive Collection contains a strong cluster of journals in economics, business, and finance.
  • A broad range of journals in area and cultural studies add global depth to the collection.
  • With research from leading scholarly organisations, journals in the social sciences feature important scholarship in sociology, political science, population studies, and geography.
  • Influential interdisciplinary journals add breadth to the collection, with research spanning the humanities and the social sciences.

Today twenty-seven titles are immediately available to participants in the Arts & Sciences IX Archive Collection. Titles marked with an asterisk (*) are also available in the Business III Archive Collection.
