In last month's news we told you about JISC Content, a new online site designed to provide a user-friendly and engaging introduction to the many digital collections JISC and JISC Collections have digitised and licensed and which are available free of charge to the UK academic community.
Since the launch of JISC Content, institutions across the UK have been signing up and taking advantage of these rich and diverse digital collections. Now we want to help librarians promote the availability of these resources to their users.
Using our new widgets, you can create an eye-catching link from your library website, VLE, portal or intranet by simply copying and pasting the code to embed the link into your site. We have an interactive widget that features a slideshow feature so that users can select subject areas of interest and quickly browse through related collections of resources. We also have a static widget.
