This tender (OJEU reference number: 2011/S 127-21126) invites e-book publishers and e-book aggregators to submit proposals under a national e-books framework agreement open to all UK higher and further education institutions and research councils.
Submissions will be marked against the defined criteria by a sub-group of the JISC Collections Electronic Information Resources Working Group. Proposals which meet the criteria will be taken forward by JISC Collections and offered to institutions as part of a new framework agreement being established by JISC Collections.
2. The deadline for proposals is midday, Friday 23rd September, 2011.
3. Subject to successful licensing negotiations, successful agreements will be made available to JISC Collections’ members by 1st November 2011 at the latest, however, JISC Collections will make agreements available earlier where possible.
