The ten new agreements licensed especially for English public libraries by the Digital Library Licensing Service were launched last month at the Public Library Authorities conference in Leeds. The resources have been selected in consultation with public librarians to offer high quality content that will promote public library use and support lifelong learning. All are offered at discounted, banded subscription rates, and all use the same consistent DLLS model licence.
The agreements are:
- Berg Fashion Library
- Bridgeman Education
- Dorling Kindersley ebooks
- European Sources Online
- GoCitizen
- Irish Newspaper Archives
- Rock's Backpages
- Royal Society of Chemistry ebooks and magazines
- Theory Test Pro
- Usbourne ebooks

To help public libraries raise awareness of the resources to their public, we have created a range of communication tools that can be freely downloaded and used in a variety of ways.
