The new e-book titles are now live (with the exception of the newest titles listed below). The new titles are available under the terms of the JISC model licence and are free of charge. The titles were selected by colleges through a consultation process and cover subjects from Beauty Therapy to Public Services.
The only difference from previous rounds is that JISC Collections will pay ebrary on a pay per view basis, in order to demonstrate best value for money to our funders. For each title in this pay per view round we have a usage ‘target’ and when this is reached colleges will have access to it until 2014, (or in perpetuity if colleges wish to continue to subscribe to the ebrary platform). For titles that do not reach the usage target we will write to colleges to explore purchase options.
The list of new titles are enclosed below and MARC records users will be able to download the catalogue records from their ebrary partner portal. If you have not received login details of how to access your partner portal please contact Sara Bowler and she will send you your login details.
