As we all know, Google Scholar has become one of the discovery and access routes for users to academic content, but there has been a concern that users don’t see the content that their own institution has licensed on their behalf.
With Google Scholar’s Library Links program there is an opportunity for users to be shown links to articles in their library’s own collection.
Google Scholar and JISC Collections will be jointly approaching publishers and suppliers on behalf of member institutions to ask them to provide details of their online holdings to Google Scholar so that access to that content can be made available.
If you would prefer us not to do this on behalf of your institution then please let us know by contacting Liam Earney
