JISC Collections 2011 Workshops - registration open

placeholder image

The time has come again for us to get on the "JISC Collections bus" (aka the train), get on the road and come and visit you. We didn't manage to get out much last year but with so many things going on, not least critical negotiations, we think it's really important that we meet up with you as much as possible this year to keep you informed of licensing developments, new services and projects. We also want to hear more about your requirements and priorities so be prepared to participate.

The one day workshops will be free to attend and will be held at locations across the UK (see dates and venues below). Some of the topics that we would like to present include:

  • JISC Collections 2011 Satisfaction Survey - Institutional feedback and JISC Collections' response
  • Upcoming negotiations in 2011 - aims and objectives
  • The JISC Model Licence - changes in 2011
  • JISC Electronic Licence and Comparison Tool
  • New JISC Collections content platforms
  • Open Access and other projects

This list is not definitive so please do let us know if there are topics that you would be interested in hearing more about or discussing as part of the discussion session.

Registration is now open for the workshops and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

If you are unable to attend any of the workshops or would like some dedicated time with us, please just email us and let us know and we will be more than happy to come and visit you.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
