Metadata Standards

Metadata includes content type, author, description, date, decade, city, country, keywords, release status, gender (where applicable), age (where applicable), ethnicity (where applicable). Compliance with Dublin Core standards

Search Options

Browse, Basic Search, Advanced Search.

Post Search Options

Users can save lightboxes of searches, email lightboxes of searches, download lightboxes. Users are able to download pdf documents of all written texts and import them into bibliographic and reference management tools such as EndNote and RefWorks.

Usage Statistics

Usage Statistics are available on request for every account holder. This includes, date range, search terms, preview views & downloads.

Authentication

UK Access Management Federation (Shibboleth) Login via username - IP address range protected.

Personalisation

Users can save searches, create lightboxes, create shopping basket, download images, pdfs, videos. Institutions cannot currently include their own logos.
