MARC 21 records are available to download free of charge.
Users can search by keyword, full text, author, subject, year, ISBN and abstract, and can refine their search by collection.
Standard boolean searching is supported, as is multiple boolean, proximity and stemming (common root) searching.
Within the content, browsing by title, author and chapter is supported, and within each book, users can browse the table of contents.
Searches can be saved and bookmarked. Citations can be exported.
Usage statistics are available for Cambridge Companions Online and are COUNTER compliant.
Statistics include the number of sessions, total and average session times, average pages per session, full content downloads, number of hits, number of searches, number of browses.
Authentication is via Athens, and IP address range. Authentication via the the UK Access Management Federation will be available in the near future.
Users can save searches and bookmark chapters. They can also create reading lists and workgroups and share them with other users.
