Notes On standards compliance

What if I want to terminate my institution’s subscription to BIOSIS Previews 2009-2011 mid-agreement?

There is an annual opt out in both years 2 and 3 of the agreement. Your institution would still have access to both the backfile 1969-2008 and the current year for which your institution had paid prior to leaving the agreement.

What if I want to access BIOSIS Previews from Ovid (Wolters Kluwer) instead of Web of Knowledge (Thomson Reuters)?

Your institution is free to take up this option should it wish to. The data fees for BIOSIS Previews apply regardless of the platform, however, JISC Collections can only guarantee that there will be no additional platform fees for institutions choosing to use Web of Knowledge platform. If you wish to access BIOSIS Previews using Ovid please contact your Wolters Kluwer rep for more information, but please complete and return the Sub-licence agreement forms as normal.

BIOSIS Previews Citation data is only available on the Web of Knowledge platform.
