e-lawstudent.com is designed to provide students with a comprehensive set of up-to-date materials that will help students across the AQA/OCR AS/A2 Law syllabus. The lectures at the heart of the database, contain numerous links to cases (1300 with full and edited text), statutes, reports, consultation papers, articles, charts, streaming video and audio, and relevant internet sites. The database attempts to broaden students' knowledge of a particular topic, make it more comprehensible, introduce them to legal research and above all to make law both interesting and relevant. N.B. As it is targeted at FE it can also be used on other related law courses, in particular the ILEX (Institute of Legal Executives) qualifications (http://www.ilex.org.uk/study/legal_studies_qualifications.aspx) as many FE Colleges provide this course. In particular the following units are covered by e-lawstudent: ILEX Level 2 Award/Certificate/Diploma in Legal Studies: * Unit 201: The Legal Environment * Unit 202: Principles of Liability * Unit 203: Principles of Criminal Law * Unit 206: Personal Injury Procedures (some of this will be covered by the units on the English legal system and the law of tort in e-lawstudent)
