Titles available in Academic OneFile includes:

  • The full Economist Intelligence Unit Series
  • Full-text of the The Times from 1985, Financial Times from 1996 and New York Times from 1995
  • Nearly 700 full-text CINAHL titles
  • Nearly 800 ERIC titles
  • Full collection of Springer and Blackwell’s abstracts, and the Elsevier abstracts for all journals from 1996 forward.
  • Audio versions of key journals such as JAMA, BMJ, and the New England Journal of Medicine.

Over 10,500 titles are included from September 1999 onwards. Exact coverage of each title can be found on the title list at www.gale.com/title_lists/.

All additional content is added as part of the subscription price.

The link with Web of Science enables users in institutions subscribing to both databases to pull current and historical information on a journal’s impact factor.

How the prices are displayed for this agreement:

The subscription fees are displayed in the Agreements tab pro-rata to the nearest month if your institution was to subscribe in the current month.

Publishers selection policy

The main focus of the database is to provide full text peer-reviewed content with no embargo. This is supplemented with high quality, non-peer reviewed material (such as trade journals) where this is appropriate.

Current licensing activity is focusing on adding the full text of journals in major indices such as CINAHL, PsychINFO and ERIC.
