The American Chemical Society is a self-governed individual membership organization which has more than 161,000 members at all degree levels and in all fields of chemistry. The ACS Publications Division will publish 41 peer-reviewed journals from 2013 onwards, as well as Journal of Chemical Education and the magazine C&EN News (both of which would need to be subscribed outside of this agreement) and around 35-40 new books each year.
